I'm a Professional Watercolor Artist with a BFA from Ringling School of Art & Design and a minor in Graphic Design and Website Design. The desire to capture the ever changing movement of colors, has been the focal point of my work. With an expressionistic feel and rhythm of line in painting, from acrylic to oils, I found my calling in those emotions through watercolor.
Originally selling Paintings and Prints from Florida to North Carolina, from High School to College and competing in numerous state & local competitions. I decided a change in direction as an artist was needed to reach my growing fan base. In 2001 the Card Designing web site was created, Jackson's Painted Land.
With my newest venture, in marketing a private line of Greeting Cards based on my Original Watercolor Paintings, new paintings and a first International Publication in the 2011 Feature Artist Vol.2, I still find myself continuing to capture the flow of color and fill the world with it.

Hello Everyone back from Christmas time with Family. Even tho all were not present, we all watched the same movie on Netflix...Meg 2. On To ART. The subscription pages are up and I'll post in them the first week of the month. With the following weeks featuring the regular stuff; Step by Step and character concepts for short story ideas.

Hello everyone. From Step by Step, to conceptual character short stories, Paintedland has been busy. Just wanted to say thanks for following on the main page: Painted Land on Deviant Art and on Instagram. My Patreon Subscription series, Comprehensive Explain will continue anew on Deviant Art in Jan 2024 with a new Gallery, Artbooks. The “Spirit” was one of my students and the sea Beach and sky were from my Village!
